Monitors are the most important hardware components of any computer, since they enable us to view all the applications and things we do on the computer. That´s why, it is important to have it always set up properly, so that the image quality is the best.
To keep our monitor in good condition we have Nokia Monitor Test, a collection of test that will guide us through testing and adjusting any monitor for an optimum display.
Once we run it, its interface will open in full screen so we can start working.

At the bottom we found the tests we can perform. There are test patterns for Geometry, Convergence, High Voltage, Moiré Effect, Brightness, Contrast, Focus, Readability, Color and Screen Regulation. You put up the test pattern and then make the adjustments to your monitor.

If we choose High Voltage the software will automatically start making the test in full screen, showing us how the light electrons behave.

The second group of tests is made up of Convergence that will allow you to measure the colors composition, Focus to verify the clearness of the image, Brightness, Moiré Effect to avoid distortions when focusing, Readability and Color and Screen Regulation to eliminate the sound and pixels movement.

Each of these features will maximize our monitor´s performance. For instance, when applying the Focus test, we can see how Nokia Monitor Test works over the clarity of the image displayed.

Last but not least, we find the Color test to measure and regulate white color; the Control Panel to adjust anything we need, and Help in case we need a few tips.

These are all the tests we can apply to the monitor. It is recommended to do a test from time to time to check the functionality of our monitor, so we can enjoy a good image quality all the time.
